How Mia Closed a Multi-Six-Figure Package After a Month of Coaching
“There's going to be things you don't know, and you need someone to help you so that you don't fall into potholes that you don't know are there.”
Mia Francis-Poulin
Can deciding to work with a coach result in a six-figure business?
Mia Francis-Poulin did just that after only six weeks of coaching. She owns R+A Creative Company, a digital marketing company that helps course creators launch their programs. After closing her multi-six-figure deal, she’s completely booked for one-on-one coaching clients for the rest of the year.
But Mia didn’t always have the confidence to think she could reach this milestone. Entrepreneurs take on a lot more responsibility than they anticipate, and things don’t always end up the way we think they’re going to turn out. Being in a difficult place ultimately led Mia to invest in coaching. She needed someone who’d already succeeded in business and could serve as a guide.
“When someone's ready to bring on a coach, they’ve had enough. They’re going to put their pride to the side and do whatever they have to do to get to where they want to be.” - Janelle Lara (16:43-16:57)
Regardless of your talent and drive, there are going to be gaps in your knowledge that a coach can help you fill. This keeps you from avoiding the many pitfalls that you don’t know are there. Mia understood the importance of sales pages for communicating your value and your offer to the world. She learned how the right sales page can make or break the success of your business.
How to Make Your Message Convert Prospects to Paying Clients
Your sales page should have one clear call to action. Focus on the one thing you want them to do. When you start with the end in mind, you can create the right message that moves readers further along the sales journey.
“Spend time listening to how your audience is talking about the problems they have that you can solve. Your copy needs to reflect their voice.”
- Mia Francis-Poulin (29:29-29:42)
Your sales page should give readers the information they need to make a buying decision. Match the language that your audience uses, and do your research to learn who your clients are, how they talk about their needs, and the solutions they’re looking for.
Learn to love white space. Don’t cram as much text as you can into your sales page hoping it will persuade readers to say “yes” to your offer. Break up the content so that it’s easier to read and less overwhelming. Make it easy for readers to get the message of your sales page even if they quickly scan through the copy. Use colors, fonts, and other elements to emphasize the most important points in your message. Prioritize clarity over cleverness.
When you focus on the results your audience wants, then it’s much easier to send the message they need to hear in order to choose you over your competitors. Don’t make the mistake of trying to look or sound professional. People want to buy from real people. Communicate in a way that shows others that you’re a real person.
Building a successful six-figure business requires the right guidance. Coaching helped Mia achieve the life and business she dreamed about in only six weeks. She realized she needed help, and she was willing to invest in herself. She understood the importance of communicating a message that attracted the clients she wanted. You can use coaching to develop a success mindset while also improving all aspects of your business. Applying what you learn is the key to lasting success and a fulfilling path of entrepreneurship.
