EP8: What’s in a Name? Why I Call You CEOs

”You have a right to stand proudly among the ranks of entrepreneurs as a boss, not as a cutesy ‘Girls Playing Business’ club.”

Don’t get me wrong. I love the cutesy business names like “boss babes” and “mompreneur” as much as the next girl. But when it comes to business, and this podcast, I take the title “CEO” seriously. And you should too. This week on the Part-Time CEO podcast, I’m sharing with you the importance of the title CEO, and encouraging you to step fully into the role you have earned as an entrepreneur.

“Names give value.”

We have a responsibility as women entrepreneurs to take ownership of our title, and see ourselves the way we want others to see us. Women make up 40-50% of all entrepreneurs, and yet we only account for 4% of the total income. The only limits in our success are the ones we place on ourselves!

“You are a CEO. Remember who you are, and take action.”

There are certain action steps that all successful CEOs put into practice in their business. They know their finances, and continually invest in their business. CEOs never stop improving and gathering feedback, and they plan and execute investment in personal development. Listen in to learn more, and start taking charge of your role as CEO. You are a boss. Period.
