Investing Again After Getting Scammed with Jessica Halvorsen
“If I refused to invest in a coach again after getting scammed, then I probably would have missed out on the incredible growth that I’ve experienced both personally, and in my business.”

Most people know that I have built a multi-six figure company while working part time, but did you know that I did all of it with an audience of less than 500 people?!
With the right method, you don’t need to reach the thousands (and tens of thousands) recommended by the gurus to make a huge impact, and build the lifestyle you want. The average conversion rate from email subscriber to client is 1-2%. Mine is 10%.
If you are a service-based business owner looking to increase your conversion rate, join the Small Audience Big Profits 30 day challenge beginning August 14th. I want to share my secrets with you!

Scams are an unfortunate reality of life.
Scams are an unfortunate reality of life. Whether it's in business or another aspect of life, most of us have had the unpleasant experience of being tricked into trusting someone we shouldn't have.
As young entrepreneurs, we can be more susceptible to scams than others. We tend to be optimistic, full of hopes and dreams, and ready to invest in ourselves for a better future. Getting scammed is typically the last thing on our minds.
“Right before I invested in you, I had just been burned by a scammer, and I was out for almost a thousand dollars. But you can’t take those bad experiences and use them as excuses to not further yourself.” - Jessica Halvorsen (27:29 - 27:51)
Unfortunately, some clever marketers can take advantage of our willingness to believe in the best possible outcome, and convince us to give them large sums of money without delivering the promised results.
You might have bought a course or invested in a coaching program that turned out to be a complete waste of money (except for the lesson that you need to do better research next time). At times, the programs can have the best intentions, but they simply don't know how to deliver. Others are downright deceptive, and they are scams.
Whether by the well meaning efforts of an unqualified coach, or through a scam, if you've been burned in a coaching program, you might be reluctant to invest in another one ever again. However, there are good reasons to take a leap of faith and try again in order to take yourself and business to the next level.
Why you should invest in another coaching program even if you've been scammed before.
Tremendous Growth Opportunities - Investing in a good coach can help your business explode in ways that you didn't even think were possible. The key is to do proper research to make sure that the coach you'll work with has a proven track record. A few of the many ways to learn more about them is to look for video testimonials, ask for references, check their social media pages, and to ask other successful entrepreneurs in your network.
Emotional Support and Accountability - People often think that the biggest benefit of hiring a coach is that they'll tell you what your next steps are. The thing is, you most likely already know what you need to do to move your business forward. A coach will provide you with emotional support and the motivation to take consistent action. They'll also hold your feet to the fire and keep you accountable.
A Bird’s Eye View - Just like you can’t read the label from inside the bottle, you might not be able to accurately gauge your own progress because you’re so intimately involved in your business. An experienced coach can see your entire business with a bird’s eye view. They can see the bigger picture and make recommendations on how you can move in the direction of your ideal outcome.
“Sometimes it takes someone else to point out how far you've progressed from where you started.” - Janelle Lara (31:32 - 31:40)
What about you? Have you been scammed before? If you have, take some time to think about how trusting another experienced coach with a proven track record could benefit your business, and you personally. Don’t let one bad experience hold you back from the incredible amount of growth that can be achieved alongside a trustworthy, qualified coach.
