Use Your Energy Wisely With Tasha Blasi

“If you want to live every day with joy...you have to be willing to be uncomfortable. Otherwise, you’ll just be mediocre, average, and fine.”
Tasha Blasi

As a business owner, it’s too easy to think you can (and should) do everything. This is a dangerous mindset that pulls you away from the things that move you closer to your goals. Knowing how to manage and spend your energy is essential to meeting your own needs so you can take care of others.

Tasha Blasi is the founder and CEO of the FU (Fertilities Unite) Project. She helps women struggling to conceive get the resources they need to have children and avoid unnecessary rounds of fertility treatments.

She combines her science background with an extensive knowledge of women’s health to empower women to do what they were created to do.

“If you have a gift or skill that has the potential to impact people’s lives, then you have a responsibility to fulfill that mission.”

 - Janelle Lara (49:21-49:57)

Tasha’s journey started with her own experience trying to conceive. She went through 10 rounds of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments to have her two children, and she’s committed to making sure others don’t go through what she did.  She’s become a leading IVF coach and patient advocate, and her unique head-to-toe, inside-out approach has resulted in a 100% success rate with her clients.

Use Your Energy to Empower Others

Tasha learned the importance of using her energy wisely as she helped mothers become empowered against an industry that doesn’t always look out for their best interests. She quickly saw that fertility is a business. Like any business owner, doctors have profits, investors, earnings calls, and other business interests to look out for. When it comes to the fertility industry, the longer you’re not pregnant, the more money doctors make.

If the average woman knew a fraction of what Tasha has learned, it would significantly reduce the cost, time, mental health, and energy they’d have to spend. Tasha’s work with clients gives them new choices. While doctors often make choices that benefit their clinics, women need to make the choices that support their own wellbeing.

“Work with a coach. Work with somebody who you admire and who has achieved what you want to achieve. Yes, it’s worth the money.”

- Tasha Blasi (35:32-35:42)

Focus Your Energy on a Mission

The value of a woman has historically been limited to her ability to have children and care for her family. But as more women move into the entrepreneurial space, we often try to prove our value by taking on more than we can handle. You need to know, feel, and experience your goals so that the goals of others don’t pull you away or redirect your energy. Create the boundaries you need to care for yourself first.

When you focus on sharing your mission with the world, you no longer waste your energy. What drains your soul’s energy? Outsource those tasks so you fulfill your mission and service. Find a coach who’s overcome the challenges that entrepreneurs face in managing their time and energy. A coach who’s achieved the things you want to achieve is the one person who can get you there. The cost of working with a coach is worth it when the end result is that you’re going to be fulfilled and successful.

Focusing your energy on your expertise lets you see where you need to go so you move your business forward while paving the way for other successful women entrepreneurs.
