Lessons from My $85,000 Launch

“You have to dig deep to accomplish anything worth bragging about.”
Janelle Lara

Do you really want to up your game? In August, I launched a group program with the intention of going big. Guess what happened? I closed 15 clients with a total of $85,000 in sales. With the right preparation, investment, and execution, I made the largest amount of revenue I’ve ever made in one month. Now it’s your turn. You can level the playing field using the lessons I learned from my latest and most successful launch.

“When you provide a valuable service and make strategic moves to get what you need, you can go far.” - Janelle Lara (10:13 - 10:24)

Hitting a five or even six-figure mark isn’t impossible. If I can do it, so can you.

Here are the tactics and tools that worked for me:

  • Goal Setting. Write out a good, better, and best goal. Your good goal is what will satisfy you. Your better goal is what will excite you. Your best goal is a home run. Check out Alex Beadon to learn more about this!

  • PR. Before my launch, I hired a copywriter (shout out to Sarah Temte) and got five affiliates on board. These promotional tools grew my audience to 2,000 viewers. Increase your brand visibility through PR. The more content you can create and push, the better.

  • Mindset Work. Hiring a mindset coach helps you dig deep, clear out subconscious blocks, and shift limiting beliefs. You can start small with journaling and praying.

  • Direct Messaging. Who is opening and reading your emails? Who is consistently showing up on your lives? Who likes your posts? Direct message anyone who seems like a good fit.

  • Self-Care. Launches are physically and emotionally draining. Don’t wait until after it’s all said and done to replenish and relax. Take care of yourself now.

As you push forward, keep the following in mind:

  • There is such a thing as good stress. When you push yourself towards a big goal, you start to realize what you’re capable of. Let the stress of the challenge shape and mold you into a stronger businesswoman.

  • You aren’t for everyone. There will be a lot of people who just don’t want to work with you. That’s okay. Rejection keeps you humble. So focus your attention on the people who do want to work with you instead.

“When you sit in the flow, do the prep work, leave the rest alone, and trust God, clients will come out of nowhere.” - Janelle Lara (49:01 - 49:16)

The journey to becoming a high-caliber professional doesn’t have to be hard or exhausting. However, nothing on this earth is given away for free. You have to earn it. Up your game through strategic decision-making and careful planning. Dig deep and do the prep work, then surrender to the will of God. Everything that you want already exists. You just have to go get after it.
